Erker's optical, which opened in 1879, existed before anybody that is currently living today on planet earth. Not one of the 6.8 Billion people on earth that are alive today were alive when Erkers first opened their doors.

Anyone that was alive when Erkers first opened for business is no longer with us on planet earth!!!

According to civil registry documents, the oldest person currently living as of feb. 18th 2010, was born on February 2, 1885, in the village of Santa Rosa, where she continues to live. This makes the Cuban woman, Juana Bautista de la Candelaria Rodriguez, 125 years old, perhaps oldest person on Earth.
