Fashion Friday 11/22

Cat eye frames are all the rave these days. That being said, the cat eye shape can vary in many different sizes and shapes.
For example Rihanna below.
Her face shape is one of a diamond, giving her one of the best shapes that allow for the fit of a cat eye frame.  One size and shape fits her marvelously, while the other fits a bit too narrow in terms of width and the shape is too extreme, not flattering her already high cheekbones.

Wonders of the World

Many of the wonders of the world...

Ok, so maybe we are over exaggerating...
But for all frame wearers, we question the authenticity of what we are buying, and is it really worth that price tag?
We can all agree that we don't want to pay an arm & a leg for something made for $.75 overseas.

Below we have a video of the making of Orgreen eyewear collection.
Designed and developed in Denmark, each frame is handmade in Japan, known and respected for its high standards and irrefutable quality.

Fashion Friday

So often our customers ask what shape/size fits my face best?
Daniel Craig is a fine example of wearing eyewear that fits him wonderfully vs. eyewear that is ill fitting.
(see below)
This round shape actually makes his oblong face a bit longer, and the shape and size is a bit narrow for his face.
This aviator shape draws attention outward and the fit and size of this frame is perfect!

Oval faces are well balanced, with a gently curved jawline that is slightly narrower than the forehead. Cheekbones are generally high and face length is approximately 1.5 times the width. Oval is a versatile face shape with features that can work with a variety of frames.

Best Bet

Square and rectangular frames add contrast to the curved lines of the oval face. Other shapes are fair game as well, just be sure to keep scale in mind. Ovals biggest downfall is a frame that is too small or too large, throwing off the natural balance of the face. Try Alex, Jack, & Pepper.
